There\u2019s no wrong way to be in it. It\u2019s all about being, just like some philosophical and aesthetic concepts of zen \u23e4 a buddhist tradition that underlies many aspects of Japanese culture. As I get deeper into jardim, words written in The Pillow Book (994\u20131001) by the great Sei Sh\u014dnagon resound in my mind: \u201cthe pond is still there, but it\u2019s now uncared for and thick with pond weed\u201d.<\/p>\n Mariana Destro, curator at GUAVA<\/a><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.2″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”]<\/p>\n jardim<\/em> is a network of art works built around\u00a0jardim | \u67af\u5c71\u6c34 | garden<\/em><\/span><\/a>, digital simulation coded by Kosha and Mut, inspired by the practice of creating a Japanese rock garden. The work proposes a digital activation based on physical perception. This network also includes: jardim_pr\u00e1tica<\/em> \u2014 a series of images created within the simulation between March 11 and April 12, 2021, registered as\u00a0NFT<\/a>; jardins<\/em><\/a> \u2014 a digital collage of over 170 images generated by people who visited the simulation; jardim sobre tela<\/em> \u2014 a series of four acrylic paintings on canvas, 80x80cm;\u00a0jardins de fuga<\/em><\/a>, an activation held during the exhibition Ponto(s) de fuga<\/em> (2021);\u00a0O livro de jardim: o caminho das pedras digitais<\/em><\/a>, a text presented as a master’s dissertation for the Graduate Program in Visual Arts at the University of Bras\u00edlia; and other images created within the simulation.
