v\u00eddeo (cor\/som), 3:07, cer\u00e2mica, dimens\u00f5es variadas, Arduino, l\u00e2mpadas LED, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\nlastros \u00e9 uma videoinstala\u00e7\u00e3o que busca criar um di\u00e1logo entre o mergulho no mar e o para dentro de si. A obra apresenta, no centro, uma \u77f3\u3044\u304b\u308a (ishi ikari) – lastro que antigamente era usado pelas ama (\u6d77\u5973), tradicionais mergulhadoras japonesas – e, no v\u00eddeo, um mergulho no qual a respira\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 o lastro para submergir em si. A \u77f3\u3044\u304b\u308a foi modelada em argila a partir de uma pedra encontrada na casa de meus pais, meu lar, e, em interior da cer\u00e2mica h\u00e1 uma luz que pisca em um ritmo lento. O v\u00eddeo \u00e9 composto por uma anima\u00e7\u00e3o de um mergulho no mar, fragmentos de v\u00eddeos – gravados desde 2015 em diferentes praias do mundo, e uma narra\u00e7\u00e3o escrita que nos guia para a percep\u00e7\u00e3o da respira\u00e7\u00e3o como um lastro da pr\u00e1tica meditativa. A rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00edntima e milenar das ama com o oceano nos apresenta uma narrativa constru\u00edda a partir da coleta. A obra \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m um convite para nos lembrarmos das liga\u00e7\u00f5es intr\u00ednsecas entre a aten\u00e7\u00e3o a nosso mundo interior e a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental.<\/p>\n

\nVideo (color\/sound), 3:07, ceramics, varied dimensions, Arduino, LED lights, 2023<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nLastros<\/em> is a video installation that creates a dialogue between diving into the sea and diving within oneself. The work features, at its center, a \u77f3\u3044\u304b\u308a (ishi ikari) \u2014 the ballast that was once used by the ama<\/em> (\u6d77\u5973), traditional Japanese divers \u2014 and, in the video, a dive in which breathing becomes the ballast to submerge into oneself. The \u77f3\u3044\u304b\u308a was sculpted in clay based on a stone found at my parents\u2019 house, my home, and inside the ceramic, there is a light that pulses at a slow rhythm. The video consists of an animation of a sea dive, fragments of videos \u2014 recorded since 2015 on different beaches around the world \u2014 and a written narration that guides us toward perceiving breathing as a weight in meditative practice. The intimate and ancient relationship of the ama<\/em> with the ocean presents us with a narrative built on gathering.
